Privacy Policy

How FinCalcHub handles your data — in short, calculations run in your browser and we never store the values you enter.

Last updated: 26 July 2026

Overview FinCalcHub ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we do and don't collect when you use our calculators and content.

Calculations stay on your device Every calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type — incomes, loan amounts, investments — are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. Close the tab and they're gone.

Information we collect We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run and improve the site:

  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymised usage (pages viewed, device type, approximate region). This helps us prioritise which calculators and guides to build.
  • Preferences: your theme (light/dark) and display currency are saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them. This never leaves your device.
  • Server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider may record standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and reliability.

What we do not do - We do not sell or rent your data. - We do not require an account or ask for personal financial information. - We do not use your inputs for advertising or profiling.

Cookies We use only essential and analytics cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the calculators will still work.

Third-party services Analytics is provided by Google. Their handling of data is governed by Google's own privacy policy. We hosting the site on a third-party platform that may process request metadata as described above.

Your rights Because we don't hold personal data tied to you, there is little to request, correct or delete. If you have questions about your data, contact us via the Contact page.

Changes We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
